NATA is a newly constituted (November 2015) association in Guyana representing the interests of aviation professionals and organizations in the country.
Intended to be the most influential body in the Guyana aviation sector of with regards to advocacy, the group was looking for a brand identity that matches it stature.
Two important elements mentioned for inclusion are the harpy eagle and the colours of the national flag.
The harpy eagle (Harpia harpyja) is the largest and most powerful raptor found in the Americas, and among the largest extant species of eagles in the world. Guyana is inhabited by this bird in its vast rainforest.
